Ami M. Maru, “Dr. Ami”, DMD

Dr. Ami M. Maru, “Dr. Ami”, is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She graduated with her DMD from Case Western Reserve University in 2009. Following this, she completed a general dental residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY, and a pediatric dental residency at State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo, where she served as chief resident during her second year. Prior to starting at Kidz World, Dr. Ami was the lead pediatric dentist in her previous offices over the last 12 years. She loves to give all kids an incredible end-to-end experience, from the moment they walk into the office to the time they walk out. Her values are centered around treating every child with the same kindness and quality she’d want for her own children.

A true global citizen, Dr. Ami has roots ranging from Mumbai (Bombay) to Kentucky. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and decorating creative desserts (ask her about her daughter’s Harry Potter birthday cake), tennis, Indian dancing, and exploring new places alongside her husband, and two young children (ages 8 and 5).
